Sponsored by Keppel Corporation and supported by The Embassy of Brazil, the Recital is expected to attract a turnout of over a thousand classical music lovers on the lawn of Palm Valley.

As a Professor of Piano at Arizona State University, Pagano has treated appreciators of music from across four continents in 900 performances as a recital soloist, chamber musician or orchestra soloist.

In Asia, he has performed in Tokyo, Beijing and Kyoto, as well as at The Esplanade and SOTA Theatres in Singapore.

Pagano is also a Professor at the University of Brazil in Sao Paulo and was the creative mind behind the successful International Biennial in Brazil. Since its inception, the Biennial has attracted many luminaries from the world of classical music, and continues to grow.

As part of an exclusive group of Steinway Artists, Pagano joins the ranks of Sergei Rachmaninov, Artur Rubinstein, Igor Stravinsky, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Billy Joel - renowned artists who perform only on Steinway pianos.
Of the 36 works Pagano has premiered worldwide, 25 were written especially for him. His solo performance at the Botanic Gardens will feature some 11 works, most of which will be known to his audience as pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Weber, Chopin, Debussy and Liszt.
